Prof. Avi Domb, a leading researcher at HU’s Multidisciplinary Center for Cannabinoid Research, gave a lively presentation in Toronto during which he highlighted new discoveries about the health benefits of cannabis while also dispelling misconceptions about the drug.
Prof. Domb, also a member of HU’s School of Pharmacy and Faculty of Law, answered pertinent questions from the audience during the Q & A session. Also taking part in the discussion were Alexander Repetski, who has considerable experience with cannabis treatment and its impact, including with his daughter who was diagnosed with intractable epilepsy in 2012, and CFHU COO Helen Hatzis, who led the first-ever CFHU cannabis mission to HU last fall.
