VANCOUVER - Hockey Madness on Ice Scores Big in Vancouver! Hosted by Alumni Daniel Wosk and The Canadian Alumni Association of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem’s Vancouver Chapter - March 15, 2017
On March 15th, 2017, Madness hit the ice in Vancouver with the 2nd Annual Hockey Madness on Ice Game hosted by Alumni Daniel Wosk. Over 25 Hockey lovers and friends came together to play a fun-filled game of hockey in support of the Einstein Student Legacy Scholarships at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Daniel Wosk, Founder of the Vancouver Hockey Madness Game and CFHU Board Member said, "I'm grateful for everyone who has helped transform this idea into a successful and memorable reality. As a proud alumnus of HU, and an avid hockey fan, it's been a humbling experience for me to see the community benefit from doing something we share a passion for." says Wosk.
With the support of returning players along with some new recruits this year, Vancouver’s involvement with the Canadian Alumni Association of HU is steadily rising with strides taken both on and off the ice. "I will gladly continue to host these games, especially knowing that this year, CFHU chapters in Winnipeg and Ottawa have also launched their own versions of Hockey Madness on Ice Games in support of student scholarships. It is great to be part of a national alumnus driven campaign for Hebrew U.” says Wosk.
The madness doesn’t have to end! The CFHU Alumni just launched the 3rd Annual Playoff Hockey Madness Online Tournament 2017 (NHL Playoffs). This is the second online madness sports tournament in our series of three run by our alumni for the 2017 season. For further information and to register, please go to www.cfhumadness.com.
