On February 7th, HUJI@Home welcomed Prof. Mona Khoury-Kassabri, Dean of the Paul Baerwald School of Social Work and Social Welfare at Hebrew University, in conversation with Prof. Izzeldin Abuelaish, founder of Daughters for Life Foundation. The discussion was moderated by Randi Druzin, author and journalist, and explored the themes of women’s equality, empowerment, and education, as well as gender violence.
Prof. Khoury-Kassabri is also the Head of the University Steering Committee for Accessibility to Higher Education among Arab Students, the Advisor for Minorities Affairs at the Hebrew University, and is an alumna of the Israel Young Academy and the Global Young Academy.
