Reflections of my time at HU
By Dan Fridmar, Toronto
In May 2017, I participated in the one-month Israeli-Law course that was offered by the Hebrew University in partnership with Robson Hall, the University of Winnipeg’s law school. As I attended Osgoode Hall Law School at York University, I had stumbled upon this opportunity by way of absolute accident.
Even though it was a short period of time, my time at the Hebrew University was extraordinary, as I had an opportunity to interact with law students from all over Canada and make friends with whom I am still in contact today.
This short course also provided me with a new lens through which I could think about the law back home and, I believe, will play an instrumental role in my practice going forward. My experience goes to show that, no matter how short or long, Hebrew University has a lot to offer anyone that sets foot on its grounds.
