THE UNIVERSITY OF TORONTO-HEBREW UNIVERSITY OF JERUSALEM RESEARCH & INNOVATION ALLIANCE
Building upon a long and positive relationship between the two universities, this Alliance enables global, interdisciplinary research and academic relationships and collaborations between leading researchers and their teams from the University of Toronto and the Hebrew University. Read more…
OICR-IMRIC-SHEBA PANCREATIC RESEARCH PROJECT
Researchers at the Institute for Medical Research Israel-Canada (IMRIC) at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and Sheba Medical Center in Israel and at the Ontario Institute for Cancer Research (OICR) in Canada will work together to uncover the molecular landscape of pancreatic cancer and the underlying pathways that are driving the disease. THE ASPER INTERNATIONAL PROGRAM ON ISRAELI LAW AND SOCIETY
Originally a partnership between the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and the University of Manitoba Law School, this program continues to expand. The three-week course is now offered to law students across Canada. In 2019, students from the University of Calgary, Osgoode Hall Law School, McGill University and l’Université de Montréal joined U of M students in Jerusalem. Read more…
THE JERUSALEM ONTARIO AUTISM DEVELOPMENT AND INTERVENTION (JOADI) COLLABORATIVE
A collaboration between The Autism Centre at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Holland Bloorview in Toronto and McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario.
Three studies are included in the project:
- Pediatric Autism Research Cohort seeking to map the natural course of autism with an exploration of child and family factors;
- Social ABC’s, evaluating the efficacy and feasibility of an evidence- based, parent –mediated intervention for toddlers;
- and synchrony studies comparing behavioral and biological markers between normal and autistic children.
THE HEBREW UNIVERSITY-UBC LAW PROFESSOR EXCHANGE
Established in 2010, the Faculty Exchange Program offers professors from the Allard School of the Law at the University of British Columbia and the Faculty of Law at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem the opportunity to conduct a course or seminar overseas. With the aim of fostering academic and research collaboration, both Faculties host an exchange professor, enriching students with international instruction and giving professors the opportunity to collaborate globally.
