Happy Passover from CFHU!

Dear Friends,

Counting our blessings.

As we think about the coming of Passover and the line most quoted from the Haggadah – “Why is this night different from all other nights?” – we are also asking ourselves, “How can we help?”

Our answer is to do our best to connect with people in our respective communities. To help keep us updated and informed and caring for each other. At a time of great anxiety when physical distancing will prevent many from attending a Seder with family and friends, we recognize the need for each other now more than ever.

Our CFHU Passover greeting video – see below – reflects our gratitude in being able to virtually connect with our family, friends and communities.

The Passover tradition involves telling the story of Jews prevailing over adversity in escaping from slavery. This lesson of overcoming challenges is especially relevant today. We know this pandemic will end. We will all likely return to a changed sense of normalcy, one which we hope will continue to be infused with appreciation for the kindness of community and knowing we have the strength to rise above, as we did so many years ago in Egypt.

On behalf of us all at CFHU, we wish you good health, good spirits and strength during these exceptional days. Happy Passover and Chag Sameach!

Sincerely,

Rami Kleinmann and Monette Malewski
