Do we need global cooperation to successfully combat the coronavirus?
Albert Einstein predicted it would take a global pandemic to bring the world together.
The world’s leading Einstein scholar, Hebrew University professor Hanoch Gutfreund, says Einstein would have been saddened at the global finger-pointing and name-calling.
But he believes there is still time for the nations of the world to partner. He suggests if the World Health Organization is right and the worst is yet to come, cooperation between nations may still take place.
Professor Gutfreund is a key advisor to Hebrew University’s upcoming “Einstein: Visualize the Impossible” virtual experience in celebration of the centennial of Albert Einstein’s 1921 Nobel Prize in physics, allowing the public to interact with him as both a scientist and a citizen of the world.
