At Drums N Flats in Toronto, CFHU held its annual Madness Tournaments Tip-Off Party on March 11, 2020. Co-Chairs Lorne Persiko and Mike Kraft officially welcomed guests and introduced MC Mark Masters, a hockey reporter at TSN. In his address to the crowd, Rami Kleinmann, CFHU President and CEO, referred to the important medical-related work being done at Hebrew University, citing as an example the potential health benefits from HU’s research into the medicinal properties of cannabis. Proceeds from the evening support HU’s Multidisciplinary Center for Cannabinoid Research.
